APPLES & NATURAL PECTIN
Saturday September 24. 10 am to 2 pm. Bring your own packed lunch. $30 Adult, $10 Child ages 10 – 16.
Apple harvest is beginning in our area and we will discuss and have some hands-on learning the steps to prepare & preserve just some of the huge variety that apples provide. Sauce apples, pie apples, start a batch of apple scrap cider vinegar and even make and test a batch of natural apple pectin for making jams and jellies.
